Kaptuzu
This tapas uses one of the oldest delicacies of Turkish cuisine: beef paste. This delicious paste is decorated with balls of Madagascar green pepper and served inside capia pepper.
Ingredients:
Capia pepper, beef meat, onions, garlic, virgin oil olive, spices, salt, Madagascar peppers.
Wine Pairing:
Full-bodied Bogazkere, Acikara, Barburi, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah pair well with this tapas.
What Does KAPTUZU Mean?
In creating the names of our tapas, we were inspired by the archaic Hittite language. “Tu uzu” means meat dish in Hittite language so we just simplified the name to TUZU and added prefix KAP which refers to the capia pepper on which this tapas is served.
