We did the Denizli stage of our Vineyard Routes Wine Tasting Series.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

We did the Denizli region, the fifth of our Turkey Vineyard Routes Wine Tasting series, which we started with Bozcaada, on Sunday, December 11th. At the beginning of this tasting series, we gathered the prominent regions of our country in wine production under six headings. Later, we divided the Aegean Region into four sub-titles instead of two and increased the number of titles to eight.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

When we think of Denizli, the first thing that comes to our minds is Pamukkale, a natural wonder, and its immediate neighbor, the ancient city of Hierapolis. But Denizli has another feature that may not be as popular as these: Vineyards.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Turkey is a country rich in vineyards. Riches sometimes disappear among the numbers in the statistical records. Our grape production is actually in such a position. In the ranking of the world's largest grape producers, our country keeps hovering between the fourth and sixth places. Although we are still far from enjoying this wealth, it should be remembered that we live on a treasure bestowed by nature.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Here, Denizli is an ocean of vineyards that alone meets about one-third of the total grape production of Turkey, one of the world's largest grape producers. Of course, not all of these grapes are wine grapes, so their yields are lower. But our land is already showing us the way to prosperity, if we manage to realize it. As long as we realize this.<\/p>

We tasted, got to know and evaluated one of each wine of our eight producers in Denizli region. The questions of our guests we were with for the tasting gave us the opportunity to answer many of the questions in our minds about wine.<\/p>

Vineyard Routes Wine Tasting not only enables wine lovers to get to know the producers and grapes more closely, but also obliges us to follow local changes and developments more closely. Thus, we are updating our wine menu without delay. In other words, our tasting events are a work in which both the participants and us, the hosts, benefit.<\/p>

In our next event, we will follow the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolian Vineyard Route.
