One of our endemic white wine grapes is Yapincak. It is also known as Kinal\u0131 Yapincak, due to its specimens with tiny brown spots on the grape grains. It is estimated that the birthplace of the Yapincak grape is the Tekirdag region, which is adjacent to the northern coast of the Marmara Sea.<\/p>

\"\"The Yapincak grape ripens late. The clusters are large and the grains are thin-shelled. Yapincak vines have high disease resistance and can adapt to clay soils and low rainfall. It is mostly grown in Sark\u00f6y and Murefte, where intensive wine production is made in Marmara region.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Yapincak and Kinali Yapincak wines are medium bodied, with low acidity and known for their aromas of red apple, pear and quince. Thanks to its thin skin, it is also consumed as table grapes. It is common to use pickled Yap\u0131ncak vine leaves in leaf wrap, which is among the favourite local dishes. The application for its use as a leaf was accepted by the Turkish Patent Institute and registered with the name of \"Tekirdag Yapincak Brine Vine Leaf\". Technical studies were carried out on the producer's harvesting of both leaves and grapes from the vine, and the results were shared with the producers.<\/p>

The story of the speech-impaired Lamia, played by H\u00fclya Ko\u00e7yi\u011fit, a local movie star, attracted great attention at the time it was shown and ensured that the Kinali Yapincak word pattern was adopted by a large audience.<\/p>
