When we looked at the sources about the grape that gave life to Osmanca wine, which recently entered the WAYANA Wine Menu, we were honestly confused. We have already learned that the grape of this elegant wine is G\u00f6k\u00e7ealan Village in \u0130zmir's Sel\u00e7uk district. G\u00f6k\u00e7ealan makes a name for itself as a modern residential area that leaves very good impressions on those who visit the town. We were actually surprised to see that the grape name we know as Osmanca, which is identified with G\u00f6k\u00e7ealan, which is famous for its vineyards and grapes, was mentioned as G\u00f6k\u00e7ealan Osmanc\u0131k in the Turkish Patent Institute. Since we have not yet been able to find a record of the stage of this change, let's leave the subject here and continue to use it as Osmanca, the name used in wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Osmanca is a grape with a thin skin, the number of seeds varying between 1 and 4, light yellow-green color, and consisting of medium-sized grains. Molasses is also very popular because its sugar content is higher than its counterparts. Osmanca has a strong body structure. Grapes are so tightly attached to their stems in the cluster that even if the stems dry out, the grapes do not break off and fall off, they continue to exist in the cluster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The grapes of the Akberg B\u00fcy\u00fckba\u011f Osmanca white wine we serve at WAYANA were grown in vineyards with clay-loam soil structure. When you sip Osmanca wine, you encounter a lively acidity that makes you feel alive. It does not have as strong an aroma as Bornova Misket from the Aegean Region, but Osmanca wine will make you say \"I'm glad that I drank it\" thanks to the elegance it offers you with a more limited palette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We mentioned that Osmanca grapes have high sugar levels by nature. The same producer also has a dessert wine from Osmanca wine, which is not yet on the WAYANA Menu. We will also include sweet Osmanca Wine in the next menu renewal. Then you will have the opportunity to meet both dry and sweet whites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
