But Panzuzu is served on a beet slice.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p><p>Beet, Medina date, local pastrami, goat cheese, scallions.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Wine Pairing:<\/strong><\/p><p>Light- and Medium-bodied red wine like \u00d6k\u00fczg\u00f6z\u00fc, Merzifon Karasi, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>What Does PANZUZU Mean?<\/strong><\/p><p>In creating the names of our tapas, we were inspired by the archaic Hittite language. \u201cZulum\u201d means date and \u201cuzu\u201d means dried meat in Hittite language. We added PAN prefix to reference beets in Turkish (pancar).
