Our country has dire contradictions that astonish us all. For instance, you would be surprised to hear that Turkey ranks between the fourth and the sixth largest country in the world in terms of the amount of grapes it grows (a place that has changed over the years). How big is this? You see a similar surprise in wine. The place in wine production of a country that grows such a large amount of grapes is 35-40 years old. You'll be stunned again when you realize it's in line, but it's true too.
Learning that almost a third of the grapes grown in Turkey, which is such a big producer, are grown in Denizli, you will probably be more astonished. But if you want to leave your astonishment here and wish, you can enjoy the WAYANA Wine Menu in our wine house in Kadıköy, Istanbul with the grapes grown in the vineyards of Denizli's Çal district. LermonosLet's take a close look at.
The name of Lermonos, which grows 8 kinds of wine grapes in its 300-decare vineyard area, was named after Apollon Lairbenos, an Anatolian belief that represents the sun. The vineyards are home to different grapes. Our local grapes Kalecik Karası, Öküzgözü, Sultaniye and Çal Karası, international grapes Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay are grown in these vineyards, processed in Lermonos' own winery and offered to wine lovers.
Lermonos has wines in different segments. The Lykos Valley series includes wines matured in steel tanks. They developed two different products for the Caro Vino series from Çal Karası grape. The Rindera series, on the other hand, is produced for the upper segment, where oak barrels are also included in the maturation process.
WAYANA Wine Menu has samples from all segments of Lermonos. You should try the Lermonos wines, which we have tasted and added to the menu with pleasure, when you come, we guarantee that you will not regret it.
