Wine Tasting Activities According to Turkey's Vineyard Routes – 6 Sessions
Among the establishment priorities of our wine house "WAYANA Wine Bar" operating in Kadıköy is to bring the wines of the Turkish producer to wine lovers and to work tirelessly to reach a wider base of wine culture. One of the activities we see as a requirement of this priority is 'Wine Tasting Events'.
The first category of wine tasting events that we have gathered under different headings is called "Wine Tasting Events According to Turkey Vineyard Routes". As the name suggests, we prepared this tasting series with an approach based on geographical distribution. We grouped the wines of Turkey into sets of eight wines in six stages. In each set, as the size of the region allows, we chose each wine from a different producer and tried to make the wine lovers get to know different brands.

- Bozcaada
- Trakya
- Cappadocia and Central Anatolia
- İzmir-Urla-Manisa
- South Aegean
- Southeastern Anatolia
Vineyard Route Tasting Events take place in October, November and December of 2022, as two events per month. Events last approximately two hours under the management of a moderator. Snacks that will not affect the taste of the wine served to the participants are also part of the content.
Each participant is given a Tasting Booklet in which the label information of the wines included in the tasting is printed. During the tasting, the participants process their own observations and take the booklet with them as a record of the day.
When we complete the "Wine Tasting Events According to Turkey Vineyard Routes" series, we will have tasted 48 wines from 48 producers of our country. This series will enable curious wine lovers to taste and get to know the wines made from almost all of our country's endemic grapes.
