Artarti

We use fresh herbs for artarti and roast them with virgin olive oil. As a final touch, we place grilled mushrooms on top of a slice of bread.

 

Ingredients:

Mushrooms, chard, spinach, scallions, parsley, mint, virgin olive oil, spices, salt

 

Wine Pairing:

Full-bodied whites like Chardonnay and Narince, and reds like Boğazkere and Cabernet Sauvignon are perfect choices.

 

What Does Artarti Mean?

In creating the names of our tapas, we were inspired by the archaic Hittite language. “Artarti” means mushroom in Hittite language; and so is the name of this tapas.
