You would be surprised to hear that Turkey ranks between the fourth and sixth largest countries in the world in terms of the amount of grapes it grows.

When we look at the names of grapes in Turkish, they immediately show that they have taken these names from daily life.

Viticulture is practiced in almost all of the temperate zone in the southern and northern hemispheres. and more than ten thousand kinds of wine grapes are grown in the vineyards.

WAYANA, our wine house in Kadıköy, has a series of events for wine lovers. It is possible to think of these events we organize for amateur wine lovers as WINE 101.

When we say wine glasses, the first manufacturer that comes to mind in the world is Riedel, an Austrian company. Riedel glasses are used in WAYANA, our wine house in Istanbul.
